3D letters give your name real depth on a fascia, a building or a reception wall. We make them to order for businesses right across the UK at our production HQ in Manchester, so every set is quoted for your job rather than priced online.
We make flat-cut letters in acrylic or Foamex, built-up letters with returned sides, and illuminated letters lit from inside or halo-lit from behind. Letters can sit on locators so they float off the wall, or be mounted on a signtray or backing panel. Recent jobs include halo-lit brushed aluminium letters for New Balance at their Warrington HQ.
To get a price, send us your logo or wording, the letter height or overall size, where the letters are going and whether you want them lit. We will email you a quote, usually the same working day, and you approve a proof before anything is made. Installation is available on request and quoted for your site.
It depends on the number and height of the letters, the material, whether they are lit and how they are fixed, so 3D letters are quoted per job. Send us the details on our quote page and we will email you a price, usually the same working day.
Acrylic is the most popular choice, with a polished finish in a wide range of colours and thicknesses. Foamex is a lighter, lower-cost option, best suited to interiors. Built-up and illuminated letters are fabricated in metal, such as brushed aluminium. Our sign materials guide compares the main options.
Flat-cut letters are cut from a single sheet, such as acrylic, for a crisp raised look. Built-up letters are fabricated with a face and returned sides, so they are deeper and can hold lighting. Halo-lit letters are built-up letters lit from behind, so the light washes onto the wall and creates a glowing outline.
Yes. We make letters for fascias and building names as well as interiors, and recommend the right material, finish and fixings for your site when we quote.
Unlit letters on business premises are often covered by deemed consent in England, but illuminated letters, very large letters and signs in conservation areas or on listed buildings usually need advertisement consent. Read our planning permission guide and check with your local planning authority before you order.
Yes, on request. Letters can be supplied with a fixing template so they go up straight, or our team can fit them for you. Tell us where the sign is going and we will include installation in your quote.
